Simone Gentile, AKA Omis, is an Italian producer who has been making a decent splash in techno circles of late. Receiving support from the likes of Charlotte de Witte, Shlomi Aber, Amelie Lens and more, Omis debuts for Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT imprint with the super charged ‘Sleep Off’ EP.

Pulsating tones and quick-fire hand claps fashion the lead track ‘Sleep Off’, as its repetitive, choppy vocal and synth stabs bounce off each other in an energetic mode. ‘Out Of Mind’ plunders a similar quality, as cyclic loops and jabbing vox meld together for a vigorous and funky workout, whilst ‘By Pick’ wraps up a very solid release with another powerful and spirited techno joint.
